Matt Biondi

   Matt Biondi performed very well at the Olympic games in Seoul in 1988. Then went on to help set a world record in L.A. in the 4x100 m. freestyle relay and he also win a gold medal in that event. The 1986 World Champanships in Madrid he won 3 gold medals, 1 silver, and 3 brounces. The medals he won was the most ever on at the World Champanships.In 1988 in Seoul he won a gold in 50m. freestyle, 4x100m. medley relay, 4x200m. freestyle relay. He also won 1 silver medalin the 100m. butterfly and 1 Bronze medal in the 200m. freestyle.in 1992 in Barceiona he was 5th in the100m. freestyle, he won 1 silver in the50m. freestyle, and ended his carrer at the Olympic Games by winning the 4x100m. freestyle relay. He also tied with Mark Spitz for the most Olypmic medals won by a U.S. male swimmer.

Kristen Otto

She won six gold medals at the Seoul Olympics. Her six gold medals were won in 50m. butterfly,100m. butterfly, 4x100 m. freestyle relay,  4x100 m. medaly relay.

Mark Henderson

Mark set the world record in the 400m. relay. He also finished tenth in 100m. relay.

Nicole Haislett

 she was the first American to ever defeat person a from East Greamany in the 100m. freestyle since 1972. She won 2 gold medals at the Olympics in Barcelona 4 hundred relay and the 2 hundred freestyle. In that event she set the world record.

Shane Gould

Shane is a Australian swimmer that set 11 world records in a very short period of time. She retired at the age of sixteen.
